Available Equipment

There are common overhead projectors in all rooms. Presentation can be prepared in electronical form as well. There are colour dataprojectors connected to PC in all rooms. Projector can be also connected to your notebook via standard VGA connector. PCs are equipped with suitable software (MS Windows with HTML Browser, Power Point 97 and Acrobat Reader, Linux with HTML Browser, Acrobat Reader and Ghost View). All PCs are connected to internet.

Dataprojector can be also connected to video cassette player. There are also sound systems (PC sound card and speakers) in rooms D1 and D3.

The internet connection for participants outside of the presentation rooms will be provided as:

• 16 computers with OS windows in room B116 (Computer room)
• several UTP connectors for participants' notebooks with DHCP in front of room B116 (Notebook place)
• wireless connection for participants' notebooks all over the faculty of informatics. The detailed instructions for connecting your notebook to the faculty's wifi network can be found here for Windows OS and here for Linux OS. Participants can borrow a PCMCIA wireless network card at the reception for deposit of EUR 50 or equivalent.
